Join the Mark - the friendly degree!
If you are a Master Mason then you are qualified to join the Mark, known universally as the friendly degree,
and an important step
in your Masonic career.
A delightful and surprising ceremony, called the Ceremony of Advancement, tells you much about the
traditional
history of Craft Masonry - ever wonder who succeeded HA after he met his untimely death?
If you are an Installed Master, you
will have heard his name but nothing else - the Mark Degree explains a
lot more. It is an operative degree and white gloves are not
worn; indeed at one point in the Advancement
you are sent to labour in the quarries!
